Independent representation and the opportunity to influence business policy-makers.

Representation is an important focus of the Chamber. We use our position within the business community to voice your interests on issues covering all aspects of industry, trade and commerce. We constantly seek ways to express the views of our members and actively promote their business interests at a local level, as part of the national Chamber movement (BCC) and on an international scale when required.

Because the Chamber receives no government funding, we are independent enough to challenge key issues that could have an adverse effect your trading conditions and we are a strong focal point for communication with other decision-making bodies. Through the Chamber, you belong to a totally independent pressure group which is there to represent your interests. We have no political affiliations or interests whatsoever.
