Quarterly Economic SurveyThe Quarterly Economic Survey is the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK, covering a substantial percentage of small businesses and the subsidiaries of large businesses. The information you provide enables us to gauge local business confidence and serve you in the most productive way. It is particularly important in the current economic climate that the issues and concerns of businesses are accurately represented so they can best inform the development of regional and national economic policy. Businesses are questioned on a wide range of issues, including: home sales and orders, export sales and orders, employment prospects, investment, recruitment difficulties, cashflow, confidence and price pressures. Our response rates are being maintained by quarter, allowing us to feedback all of the latest data from the region. The South Wales Chamber of Commerce has one of the highest QES response rates in the UK, and we would like it to be even higher with your help. Below you will find the published Quarterly Economic Surveys for 2009 available to download, along with all the important dates for 2010 QES's.
