British Chambers of Commerce announces new accredited Chamber for South Wales

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) announces today that Newport and Gwent Chamber of Commerce will take over as the accredited member for Cardiff and the surrounding area. The extended Chamber will be renamed South Wales Chamber of Commerce.

Managing director David Russ and his team will continue to support and represent businesses in Newport and Gwent, and will bolster its services to businesses in the Cardiff area, helping them to develop, grow and profit.

BCC Director-General, David Frost, said:

“Chambers of Commerce are at the heart of communities across the UK.

“It is vital that we have a dynamic and progressive Chamber network if we are to help grow and develop businesses in a hugely competitive environment.

“After a rigorous approach we are pleased to announce that David Russ and his team at Newport and Gwent will take over as the accredited Chamber for the Cardiff. We will be working with the newly named South Wales Chamber of Commerce team to help them grow both the Chamber and more importantly the local business community.”
